Bio/ CV

Born 1964 in River Vale, New Jersey. Received BFA in Painting & Printmaking from SUNY at Purchase in 1986. Moved to New York City. Worked as studio assistant to Red Grooms in the late 1980s (dream job). Worked as a Production Designer and Scenic Artist in film, television, and theater until the early 2000s. Moved to Columbia County, NY in 1999. All the while, has been a visual artist, painting and making 3-D constructions. Finally settled down and married beautiful, brilliant Susan Winchell, an archaeologist. The past few years have generated mostly on and off-the-wall constructions. These days, long walks in the woods have motivated a return to painting.
